Surf looked good and there wasn't a cloud in the sky so I decided to go for a surf rather than go to work. Once in the water I had an epic paddle to get out the back where the waves were a solid 4 foot and breaking nicely. A little bumpier on the face than I had expected due to the strong rips but still had some really nice, really long rides. Trouble is the paddle back out was monstrous so after getting caught on the inside a few times I just couldn't face the paddle back out.
